    Mylo is Moving

    Hey all,

I've been transfered with my work and have to relocate.

BAD NEWS = Sub production is shut down until major reno work done on house / ship yard.
GOOD NEWS = My new ship yard will be bigger and better once I get up and running again.

Any of you who have been waiting for me to get this kit to market are going to have to wait even longer. If you're still interested when I get back online with it, I'll resume operations and start getting kits put together once I fully test the r/c prototype. I wanted to complete my r/c prototype before offering kits to make sure I ironed out any wrinkles. I have been very busy trying to get that done before the moving trucks show up, investing several hundred hours into the design and construction of this second boat and r/c internals. (for those of you wondering, I moved my 1st boat out into the garage.....running out of room in a hurry). Unfortunately, I failed. I got the r/c model completed and all the internals done, but could only do some partial research on how to build the WTC. I wanted so badly to have a functioning r/c boat for Regatta '08, but.....it's not going to happen. I'm still a go for attending Regatta '08, and will bring this r/c prototype with me, but if I put it in the water, all it will do is sink to the bottom......not much of a show.

In a week or so, I'll be "off line", but rest assured this......DAMN SUB !....will sail when I get back to it.

      Sam,

      I'm only moving 90

      Sam,

I'm only moving 90 miles from where I am now. Still in Saskatchewan Canada.....aka...."the North".

I've got a major overhaul to do on my new place. Sub has to be put on the back burner. I have to hang up my sub tools and put on my carpenter belt for a while.

....BUT.... my new place even has a nice dug out that will work wonderfully as a submarine test tank. I'm quite sure when whoever dug the hole, they didn't have that in mind.

        um....
I grew up in Buffalo. Spent a lot of time in Canada; playing hockey, good Chinese food, Toronto, etc. Never once did any of the houses I saw in Ontario come with a "dug out". Must be a western Canada thing, eh?

          Sam,

I'm moving to a spot in Rural Saskatchewan since I can't stand being close to people. (more accurately, they can't stand being close to me. Case in point....Torpedo Testing). Here in rural SK, dugouts are common as a water source, mainly for livestock but.....they also work well for subs. No, you will not find them in Toronto. My sub tank is going to be 50' long x 30' wide x 15' deep. Non contaminated fresh water. A little launching dock is in the plans. Yep, it's going to be good.

Yeah eh, like....Western Canada rocks eh. *pulls touque down, drinks beer*.
