    I am following a course in jewelry making.

    A good way to learn new tricks, like polishing, hard soldering and casting.

    can you guess the shape of my new ring ...

    If they have a jewler's or dental centrifuge, you will get nice clean lines on your ring.

    In school I made a lost wax ring - where the ring is made from wax with a sprue included, moulded it in dental plaster, the wax then melted out of the plaster through the sprue hole, silver poured in and centrifuged to get a nice clean cast. Buff with rouge on a cotton buffing wheel and she shone like crazy!

      weeks of sanding/scribing/carving ahead
      (I work on it one evening a week)
