Redesigned Virginia Class bow

The Virginia class bow has been redesigned, and the 12 tube vertical launch tunes will be replaced by two larger tubes that can take a variety of missiles, UAVs and other items. The spherical bow array, a fixture in Attack subs since the Thresher/Permit class will be replaced with a lighter weight conformal array. See the figure, below:
