I talked with John Gil to reserve one of these units on May 7th, I believe it was. He told me the units had just arrived the previous Friday, which would have been May 2nd and that he would be calling me when they are ready to be shipped out, which he said was in about 2 weeks. According to that, he should start shipping them sometime this week.. He said something about having to "check out" all the units before he can ship them.
No one is going to give away or take away 72 and 75 mhz. And if they do I don't plan to stop using mine. There must be millions of radios out there on those frequencies. It will never happen. 2.4 doesn't work under water!
Has anyone recieved their radio yet?? The last I heard they were having transistor problems......I have called Jon Gill and left a msg...but have not gotten a call back.....Does anyone know what is going on here?
Talked with Jon Gill today,.....still waiting on the RF module.....they have no idea how much longer it might be....he said they have been waiting for three months now.....so hopefully it wont be too much longer.......
I talked to John Gill this morning (7/17) and he said he received 30 modules. He is testing to see if they are OK and if so would start with his February orders. He expects more modules soon. Keep your fingers crossed.
If you have a radio on order, you can purchase extra receivers now for $40 for the 6ch seeker.. Everyones waiting for the next radio release date of, late Sept. early Oct. Just in time to run under the ice!

Well guys, I just got off the phone with John Gill and he is still hopeful for the end of October. He did say he's keeping his fingers crossed though. He did say we will see them eventually. I told him I would post the info so everyone is aware of the situation.
As per John Gill, the radios are on the way. Should be here soon but will need to clear customs. Phone calls will be placed when radios are ready to ship.

Hello everyone
as an distubutor for Polk Hobbies and radios I have recently recieved
a letter from them saying the cost of materials and the continued devalueation of the US dollor on the world market is having a direct
impact on their products pricing. I will keep you apprised of any information as it comes in.
