SCR Issue 72

I got my SCR issue 72 yesterday. Looks like a keeper!!
I hear myself saying issue 72 but it seems like I just joined, but that was issue #6. Lots of changes over the years, good and bad. But there is one thing that has not changed, our love of submarines. I just wanted to thank the members that through the years have kept the Subcommittee and its SCR publication alive. Now I will get back to reading this great issue Pete and his crew have put together. (Big guy now climbing down off his soap box) Thanks, BD.

Please be patient guys. Their were a few hang-ups with getting this issue out this time, as it's the first issue published with a new printing vendor to save some SC expenses. But as you'll see, it's still the same quality publication.

Dave just got his already because he's special. All the others are on their way soon.

btw I noticed a worrying amount of stamps on it.
perhaps we can send them off in batches to countries
with more than 10 members and have a volunteer
redistribute them locally (by local post) ?

We discussed that possibility, but it would cost the same regardless, and you would probably get yours even later, and you'd have to restamp them all at your house and then take them to your post office to distribute. Do you really want to do that? Didn't think so. But it was a good thought. It would just rely on a lot more volunteers and more chances for things to fall through the cracks.
