    3.7 gun drawings

    Hello everyone,

I am not if this is the right place to ask this, but here it goes.
I bought the book by David Westbook (ANATONOMY OF THE SHIP the Type VII U-boat. On page 90 it has a drawings of the 3.7cm gun that I need to scratchbuild. It indicates that drawing are at 1/50 scale but It seems to me to be at a bigger scale like a 1/25. If one of you have this book , can you check this out for me and let me know if you would know if scale is correct or if you know the scale of the drawing. Please let me know. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    37 MM gun

I never took a close look at it before, but I think you're right. It does look closer to 1:25. Especially when you compare it to the 88 on page 91.

      Drawings E4/1 and E4/2 are

Drawings E4/1 and E4/2 are definitely listed in the wrong scale. Using the old Mark-1 'thumb-and-finger' ruler I would agree that it is probably drawn in 1/25th scale.
