    What Method For Membership Renwal Available

    Hi, my name is George from Canada. I would like to know if PayPal has been setup so that we can renew our membership. If so can someone please Reply with the PayPal account info. so that we can pay through PayPal.

    Since I live in Canada, I have been told by The S.C that Postal Money Orders are NO Good, Money Orders from the Bank " Might " by a problem and I don`t use VISA or M.C via email or mail the info. of the card.

    So what is the status of the Renewal System here ?

      Paypal renewal

      Hi George -
      I sent you an email on this just now in case you don't make it back to the forum for awhile. Contact Bill Vanderslice at membership@subcommittee.com and maybe they can figure something out for you.

      We are (and have been for around a year!) working on Paypal for renewals and new memberships. Mike Tarkanian, our web guy, has agreed to set up a page where members can renew and new guys can sign up. He is basically doing this for us for next to nothing, so we have had to wait until he has some personal time to get it done for us.

      Mike is going to set up a secure page where guys can enter their information - address and other stuff on the renewal card and that goes to the membership chairman in new York and the money goes to our treasurer in Nevada.

      According to Bill Vanderslice our treasurer, it is more complicated to set up Paypal account for a not for profit - 501 (c) 7 U.S. corporation than it is for an individual. Apparently there are tax hoops, I don't pretend to understand, to jump through.

      For those folks who don't have a Visa, MC or Discover charge to handle transactions over the net or by international mail, I share your frustration on how long this is taking.
