Search techniques?

How do you search for things older than 2006?
I was searching for painting tips that were from
2005 and could not find them. Others in the same
thread were coming up with threads about painting
the DSRV which were also from 2005.

What dark magic is this? How did you do that?

I tried another search for

I tried another search for "anechoic tile pattern " which was found in the post from 2005 and still only got returns no later than 2006.

Is the "Search previous" set to "all posts"? Yes it is.

Probably not holding my mouth right. I will try later when
I have more time.

Very weird. I tried doing some test searches and I *think* the search capability is only going back 2 years....unless you are doing a search of a username, which returns hits back to 2003 (when this forum was put into place).

I'll see if this can be fixed!
