    Winch Action Piston Tank

    Any comments about this

Check out the 1/144 Revell U212, Trumpeter Kilo and Gato videos. They all use this system. Too bad they didn't put it in a proper WTC.

    Looks to me if they

Looks to me if they had the servo and one pulley in a wtc and extended the servo shaft through a seal and added another pulley outside the wtc that would solve the problem of sealing the winch line. The wet side line would take up on the pulley outside the wtc, the dry side line would take up on the pulley inside the wtc. Both pulleys would be attached to the same servo shaft with a shaft seal between the two pulleys.

        I had seen the puremtc

I had seen the puremtc site in the past, but only recently saw their pages about the winch operated piston tank. I also find it very interesting for use on small boats like they show on their site. It eliminates the needed room for a screw shaft to travel back n forth inside the boat.

The video on their site is the first I have ever seen of a functional RC 1/144 Revell U212. They even have a mixer on the X-tail and it appears to be set up for proper functioning along with RC control of raising and lowering the scopes.

Anyway, you asked why no comments, well I just commented. Would like to hear comments from anyone who has tried their products as well.
