Well the 3rd annual 1000 Island Cottage Sub Regatta has come and gone. I am proud to report that it was a rousing success with 20 submarines and 10 skippers in attendance. This year the Regatta went international with the attendance of Crazy Ivan from the US.

Truthfully I was a little worried about this year, as it was scheduled late in the year, which means questionable weather, and low water. In fact this year is the lowest I have seen the water in decades. The good news it is also the lowest I have seen the weeds in years as well.
The forecast for the 2 day event was overcast and rain. Luckily the weather man was 50% wrong. Saturday the weather was perfect, sunny and a mild day ... in fact I wasn't the only one swimming that day.
Sunday it was raining and overcast ... however that didn't stop us, for some reason we didn't care if our submarines got wet. Although it has been requested that I install an awning for next year.
This thread will continue in subsequent posts per skipper, I haven't got to the video yet so I'll save that for last. Enjoy!
Cheers
