Yeah - kill the savings account and alot of time - I'll come clean - My brother-in-law and I are in the hollywood movie industry and shipbuilding industry respectively and would like to create our first kit for the market pooling our resources. We'd like to start with a rare, cool, highly prized machine and have our notions of what that might be. Our ideas may not be the same as people who've been modeling awhile. Thus we ask your opinions and are grateful for any direction.
Everyone has an opinion on their favorite, and the Alphas, type VII's, Fleet boats etc are well represented. So I thought about hulls that aren't out there. So how about an original Holland boat in 1/32 or or perhaps my personal favorite a type XXI in say 1/32 or 1/48. An old S boat would also be an interesting build as would the more recent soviet K-19 from the film.
well, two models I have not seen before and I think are
"cute" are the Trieste (the one that visited the bottom of
the marianas trench and got back)
and the "deep flight", an experimental recreational
vessel.
and last but not least some research vessel large
enough to fit with a working manipulator arm.
Gosh! Tough choice. We have not even scratched the surface of this topic.

You have to admit those bow planes with the hump is ugly. However, I did pick it. Would make an interesting model. Plus you never see boomers from any other countries but the US and Russia.
