New Product from WIZARD MERRIMAN - KLI-cons!

    D&E KLI-Cons®

Revolutionary push rod connector system from the Wizard of Model Making –
    David Merriman!

No more fiddling with set screws, stripped threads, looking for Allen keys. Click-on your push-rods in a split second!
Earth magnets grip each section of the push-rod together to withstand the most rigorous workout.
Each KLI-Cons® magnet set comes with a special threaded brass connector, which you solder to the end of your push-rod. The magnets are threaded onto the new pushrod end, fine tuning by threading up or down. Approximately ½” adjustment is possible.

KLI-Cons® come in pairs, north and south magnets. Place in different directions to ensure you do not connect the wrong push rod; the wrong magnet will repel the rod.

KLI-Cons® Sold in a 3 set pack, for fwd, rear and rudder push-rods.

    Product code KL2 $19.95

    If memory serves, Brian Stark

If memory serves, Brian Stark was the one who appears to have created this idea for servo rods. He had it in his USS Scorpion at last year's SubRegatta.

      You were beaten to it

      Jeff!

You were beaten to it by The Wizard!

Already posted on another site -
[quote]I have to state here, before you guys get the wrong impression, that this device is a commercial development of a system devised by Brian Stark. He showed me how he interconnected the WTC/hull control surface linkages on his boat at the 2006 SubRegatta (the best place on the continent to learn neat tricks useful to we r/c submarine drivers).

Brian showed off how to use magnets to attach the hull halves together as well -- another trick I've used recently]

      David says Hi!
