        I knew it!

        Mike, thanks

        I knew it!

Mike, thanks for the extended chat on Saturday and again on Sunday. From some of the things you'd said I was certain I was taking with a familiar screen name from the SC board but I couldn't remember the name. (I could remember your avitar, but that did me little good in conversation.)

            Just wait until you see

Just wait until you see his LED write up in the Sept SCR. He is just as good of a writer as he is a speaker!

                Kevin,
                For multiple LEDs, like 50

                Kevin,
For multiple LEDs, like 50 of them, should they be hooked up in series or parallel? And how does more than one light affect your formula?

If I want to do something that will plug into a 110V outlet, should I just use a transformer plug that converts down to 9VDC like is used on other electronic toys, keyboards, etc.?

                Pete

                      SubRegatta 2007

I'm glad everyone I've talked to enjoyed the regatta in Carmel.
I had a ball and learned a great deal (again!). I was really impressed with the turn-to attitude of everyone who departed the event AFTER picking up after themselves.
Skip's picture and that of his Albacore made the Indy Star's Carmel Star magazine this morning. (Newspaper)
After I return to town this weekend I'll scan and post it.

PS: I finally joined SubCommittee this past weekend.....better late than never!

Thank you Indy Admirals for a great time. This was my third year in Carmel and the first year with a running sub (I build slowly). Hope we can do it again next year.

                            Pete,

To keep all the 'related stuff' in one place I've answered your question in the LED thread (in R/C Modeler). Sorry for the delayed response- I've been off on a well-deserved camping trip with the family.

                            TD,

Thanks for the kind words. If you have any questions, I'm easily found!
