I had the opportunity to run my XXIII this Sunday with SC member Gary Phillips. There is a photo of Gary venting Propel from his boat on the inside cover of SCR Jan 07 #68. Gary wanted to check out his boat after a long layup and I jumped at the chance to join in the fun.
Gary has a great lake home in Northern Minnesota. The lake is super clear and he has a nice sand beach. Great way to start the summer running season - Thanks for inviting me up Gary!
Gary's grandson helps him get his 32nd P Type VII ready to go,

Gary gets rid of some stubborn bubbles trapped in the hull. By the wetsuit you can tell that the water is still a little chilly (59 degrees) in this part of the world.

Checking systems - we have a green board!

My type XXIII escorts Gary's larger but same scale (1/32) boat.

Gary's boat is equipped with a SubTech depth keeping device that worked like a charm. Gary also upgraded his boat with a Small World Models 4" WTC with an oversized ballast tank to give the proper surfaced waterline.

Clear water!

Success!
