US Enlisted Submariners Ball

SO this weekend is the enlisted submariners ball and we are celebrating with saluting drinking and dancing. This year I was asked to create the centerpiece for my boats table table, to be entered in a competion amongst all the commands at the base. Only problem was i found out mon and didnt get materials together until Tue. So here is what I have so far. It is a seawolf and kilo engaged in combat. The kilo is performing an EMBT Torpedo evasion and the seawolf is banking to come around. There is also an underwater explosion with blinking red LEDs in it and a torpedo zooming off in the distance. This is also my first attempt at weathering a sub. Both the subs are the trumpter 1/144 scale kits. Also both boats have runnign lights installed.

Let me know what you think of my 3 days of work, because its all ive done this week ask my wife. Also if you have any advice on improvement or additions let me know, because the better it is the higher chance i have of getting the 500 dollar first prize (which i will use for some sub parts).

Oh Man. You know what.

Oh Man. You know what. I spent the entire thing the same day I got the check. I sat in the public affairs officer's room for like an hour waiting on the check. Then I ran over to bank and cashed it. On the way home I had the wife get the kid ready to go out. I was home a half hour and I was on my way to the LHS. Cha ching walked out with a new AXE CP heli and lots of repair parts. I know I should have gotten something for submarining right!!!! Well, I had just got done building 2 of them in a week and I am stil building the scale ships akula so when I looked at the revell type 7 and gato kits it took about 30 min for me to say not another one for now. SO after that large dump in cash it was time to buy the wife off and we went to Joannes and Michaels. The cool thing is the stuff she bought i can use aswell. I can now make stikers for anything. Ok one last stop. Gotta go to petsmart and buy a new fish to replace the one that got torpedoed by my USS Skipjack. Well I didnt get a fish. I kid ran over to the birds and got all excited. So...... we bought a birg and cage. yada yada yada. End of the story. Prize money is gone and now the officers want to steal my center piece for their sub ball. Im gonna make them pay for it if they want it!!

You guys need a centerpiece for events???? It lights up lol
