Viking submarine drawing?

Hi,

does anybody have a picture or drawing of the new Scandinavian Viking submarine? Not sure if this sub actually exist or if it's only a project under construction. Anyway, I'm thinking about this as a possible future model.

The project isn't really running

The project isn't really running straight... The parties have pretty much given up on it after Denmark (and maybe Norway I think) withdrew from the project. In the end I think Sweden decided to go on with it all by themselves. But due to this they have lost quite some time and I guess it'll take its time to make any progress on the planning and building, and it'll even more time to see something appear. The best try would be to visit Kockums' site and see what they have. That's all there is I guess.

Hello Lundberg,

I read a lot about Viking project few years back; it was very promising project for a new AIP submarine. But it seems all the pace dried out and there is not much new info regarding the Viking. Talwar's suggestion points at probable cause.
They had a nice PDF brochure on the Viking project with some rendered pictures - I guess you won't get any more info . You have that brochure, don't you? Or pics from the brochure? If you don't, I can try to dig into my archive...

OT: Your name suggest your from Nothern Europe. Did you visit any submarines on public display there? What would you recommend to me? I heard a lot about Tonijn, but I'm not aware if there are any more subs to see...
