waterproof connectors {electrical}

anyone know where to get small waterproof connectors for servos? I have few electrical connections to make outside my WTC

I have shopped around alot after waterTIGHT connectors, and have found some that is available in 3, 9 and 25 poles. They are available from www.rs-components.com Look for stock numbers 452-114 (9 pole) or 184-9323 (25 poles) There are also a 3 poled version, and you should be able to see it once U find the others using the search facility. The plugs are not for many amps, but surely they can handle servos etc.
Notice that contact pins comes seperatly in some cases, and that it is not nesercary to have the special tool to mount the wires to the pins.

Thanks for the info, but I was not able to locate anything in the search engine of that site, could you possibly send me a link to the connectors you were refering to? and have you used them before? I just dident want to order something that I really cant see {dont want to get connector in the mail that is 150mm long for a servo}

It's a bit long, but ´that's the RS style.
IF it doesn't work, go to http://rswww.com and type in 452-114 in the search field top left corner. I have bought two 25 poled and two 9 poled for my sub, and it seams to do great. I know the plugs from when I was at the technical hotline at the RS, and they are pretty good watertight connectors, except for the amp. rating.. We cannot use them for engine supply, but for everything else, they'll do fine. Hope it works for U 2.

Instead of buying water

Hello ,

Instead of buying water proof connectors , you could
buy some RTV Silicone in a tube and coat your connectors
with the RTV . Works great for me .
There is a little trick the guys running the RC Combat
Warships use . You can purchase a can of liquid rubber
at the local hardware store , this stuff is used to put
a coat of rubber on the handles of metal tools , anyway
you can brush this stuff on your connectors and even
apply it to your servo cases , put a small "O" ring under
the arm with a little vasoline coat and you have a water
proof servo that will work while submerged in water , another
trick the RC Combat guys use ....
