The newspapers have been going bananas over here because we may get as much as 7" of snow here in London by tomorrow morning.

They're predicting urban meltdown, as everything come to a grinding halt!
I'm on early turn tomorrow, and I work on the railways, so I'm expecting a few problems caused by the white stuff in the morning if the forecast is correct!

I'm damn sick of this weather. I have 3 subs I want to dive test, the outside bag pool it frozen over, and my unheated basement is too cold to work on anything for any length of time. I have switched to plastic models for the time being since that room is upstairs.

-40 here again today.....I think that's both Celcius and Farenheit. Cold, either way you look at it. Good news is the weather forcast for the week end is a balmy -23 C. Warm front.

for those of you getting

for those of you getting hammered with snow right now.. today i saw
endloaders still cleaning up the snow from the blizzard (that was a week
before christmas) we have some decent weather outhere in Denver in the past week and the sun has melted off the last of the two feet of packed snow and ice that was left on the roads but some of the roads that are in the shade all day still need help and not to say the pot-holes that are in the hundreds around town now!!! look at it on the bright side... we will be
sailing in the white stuff when it turns to water..

this weekend we are expecting our seventh weekend of snow storms.

the stuff falls friday and saturday so it can melt (ha!) monday thru thursday.

last weekend (feb 3&4) was the first weekend where no snow actually fell since the 24" on december 21-24.

the parking lots at mile high stadium (football) and coors field (baseball) are full of snow trucked there from the side streets of denver and aurora.
