    UFO Files tonight

Thought you guys lmight like to see the other work I do. Not subs but Of Ice and Steel will change that soon!

This is one of the two shows I just did for them. I only did about 10 shots for this one. The other airs on Jan. 22 th. Did 33 shots for that one.

Here's the link to the History Channel's schedule:

This show was difficult to do as the plates were not shot right at all but I did the best I could. On the other show that will air later the plates were done just right and this is some of my best work to date.

P.S. Here's a few frame grabs from the show. Enjoy!

Steve...these plates are terriffic. I'll bet that you'll be flying models of these things in between running your subs.

                Your cleared for take off.

Carcharadon, I'll see what I can muster up. I should take the time to put all this stuff on my web site. Thanks very much and no I haven't been. I figure it isn't subs so who cares kind of thing. Evryone does CGI these days.

Chuck thanks a bunch but nope. If it isn't a warbird no interest here.

Here's a couple from the show that will air Jan. 22th. I did 32 shots for this show. A real ball buster.

I'll upload a video clip or two to my server tomorrow.

Both are full size,, hope you guys don't kick me off for this,,, lol,, R2 took 4 years, the lost in Space robot took 9 months to build. LIS Robot is 6.6" still shorter than my type IX its 8', R2 is full size also...

                          ...

                          hey Steve,
Thanks , I aways get hey, you should build a Robby,,,, well my response is, you do Robby, I did these 2. R2 is almost 100% scratch built form wood and resin and styrene. The dome and a few other details I bought. The dome panels are bondo, the dome rotates with a radio, and a mp3 player makes him talk,, beep,, R2 sounds.. lol
LIS robot is all scratch minus the torso, and bubble. The torso is fiber glass and was a rough casting out of a mold, it took some major work to clean it all up and cut all the opening before it was ready to paint,,, this was a one time project, unlike a submarine,,, e-gads,, too labor intensive... The brain, collar, legs, tread sec., treads, wheels for treads, are all hand made.. I did all the wiring also. Everything I leaned since I have been involved with rc subs was used in the construction of these guys.
Ok, back to subs,, Waiting on UPS as I type, the GATO should be here today !!!!! thanks , and keep on model building... Jeff Jones

I hear you. Worked on stuff like that for over 30 tears. A lot of hard work.

Yes back to subs. I'm currently working on a full blown trailer for Of Ice and Steel and will start a thread here soon. Working on a type 9 now infact. No glue, no mess and the water is not wet! LOL!!

I finally got to see the shows

                              Black Box UFO Secrets

                              Hangar 18: The UFO Warehouse

These are the best in the History channel series UFO Files to date. I’ve probably seen them all, several times.

                              Great Job Steve.
