To follow on with the photos, I am uploading a few Mystic shots here too to show the real vehicle. This vehicle is festooned with technology and has gone through many refits. This is Mystic as it appeared last week! I knew what day it was returning from sea so I went up on top of a hill in San Diego and photographed it as it came into view aboard its dedicated vessel, the Kelly Chouest. Then after it came pierside, the next day I photographed it on the ship. Again as before, nothing in these photos is of a classified nature.

Kelly Chouest coming into view on the Pacific Ocean approaching San Diego Harbor behind camera. The ship needs to head about 1 mile to the left and swing around behind the camera and head into the harbor.

Kelly Chouest making her way into the harbor toward Coronado Naval Air Station where the Deep Submergence group is located

Overall view of Mystic on the Kelly Chouest

Stern Prop Shroud and Propeller

Another view of the stern prop shroud and propeller with non-skid pattern visible

Starboard view of the Mystic from low forward

View from on top showing the non-skid pattern at the stern end of Mystic

Looking straight up into one of the stern thrusters

The top hatch fairing or 'sail' in International Orange for visibility.

The obligatory 'yes I am here' photo... Many thanks to the Asst Mystic Repair Officer, Steven Carlson for the walkaround opportunity. There are others who were in the loop too that I will thank in a separate email.
