                Steve,

The Type XVIIb article is being worked on now..for the September issue.....we went with what got us to print the quickest since we were still behind my self imposed production schedule.

.....I'm not sure of you consider that to be or

Right now it is looking really good for the September issue to be in folks hands by <gasp> September....

...I definitely appreciate the very kind feedback. It helps to offset the time away from sub building. ...okay, not really....but the feedback *is* very much appreciated!

p.s. Steve - my Type XVIIb has the hull halves joined and I'm working on the linkages that go through the stern planes and rudder.....photos once I get the hull seam finished to my liking.

                    I got mine last Friday

I got mine last Friday or something like that... late last week anyway. I read most of it last weekend on the ferry ride to the Vancouver Island. I had it at the VMSS Anniversary fun run and a few people picked it up and flipped through it too.

I liked Waynes retrospective of his trip to Russia and enjoyed part one Kevin's gloss-over of the Oscar II build.

A good one Jeff! Great job!
