Pablo,

What are the dimensions of

Pablo,

What are the dimensions of that Walmart sub you have?

The overall length, width and height of the hull is what I'm referring to.

Thanks,

Steve

Thanks again Dan, it's nice

Thanks again Dan, it's nice to discuss and talk about submarines and not just argue (I agree 100% on what you said about the SP Thunderdome, the only good thing about it is that you can figure out what is the real feelings of some people)

Steve,
The Wallmart sub I own has the following dimensions (metric system, sorry)]http://www.subcommittee.com/forum/icon_question.gif[/img]

Returning to my comment on

Returning to my comment on the Mystic DSRV]http://usmilitary.about.com/library....e.htm):

Not a bad scale for a DSRV model... If I had another one I would certainly try to convert it into a DSRV.

Pablo,

I was curious to know

Pablo,

I was curious to know how big it is. Just to get an idea of how much room is inside it.

In inches it would be 13.78" length, 2.24" diameter...quite small. Though larger diameter than some 1]

I was in Walmart this

I was in Walmart this weekend and looked at the subs.. The range for the transmitter and reciever is only 5 meters! A mere, 16.4 feet. Completely useless unless your running it in a small swimming pool. If you replaced the transmitter and reciever then it would be useable in a pond or small lake (i would think), but would no longer be cheap lol.

It does only cost $19.98....so not surprising that the transmitter is so VERY weak..

You can increase the range by brute force]http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_1397464/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm
