    Nautilus Prop configurations

I've been looking around for some information on SSN-571 Nautilus propellers.

Were they the same type as used on the Skate class ? Did she get 7-bladed props later on in her career ?

    John,
I have some stuff at home that I will send you. Specifically, Nautilus in drydock, with what appears to be a shrouded 7 bladed prop.

      IIRC the original Nautilus props

IIRC the original Nautilus props are in display at the entrance of the Submarine Force Museum. Were those the ones used during her initial trips including the famous North Pole trip?

Those are the five-bladed props; they could be fitted onto either Nautilus or Seawolf (SSN-575).

I thought you were talking about a different Nautilus.
