    APC-4

    Hi,

With only 1 set of wires to be linked to a servo/control surface, how do you use this in a boat with onlt stern plains? I have an APC-3 now and thats a "pass thru" setup.

    Thanks,
    Mike

    The APC-4 works the same.

The APC-4 works the same. I have a -3 in my Dumas Akula which uses this "pass-through" mechanism and have now built a Kilo with the -4 connected in the same manner.

      I dont understand how that

I dont understand how that works. The APC-3 has two sets of servo wires. The photos of the APC-4 only shows 1 set.

My APC-3 plugs into the reciever then the servo plugs into the other wire coming out of the unit.

Even the documentation says that it (APC4) does'nt use a channel.

      I'm confused.....and dazed

        Hello!

The APC-4 has a small connector you plug the servo into directly on the circuit board, just below (and in the same orientation!) the wire to the receiver.

It can either be powered directly through a control channel (ie dive plane stick on xmitter), or it can do it's job with ~5vdc, plugged into a spare (open/unused) channel on the rec'vr, or powered by it's own power source.

        Any clearer now?

        Matt
