Periscope Films

Does anyone have an email address for these guys ?

I bought the "Nuclear Pioneers" DVD and the transfer quality is horrible. Watching the film drift in and out of focus because the screen is moving is not a good way to transfer from film to video. Not to mention they put an annoying compressed jpg tag in the bottom right hand corner.

Anyone else have these DVDs ?

John,
I believe this is the same outfit that is making the Regulus missile films, and it involves a guy by the name of Nick Spark. They *DID* have a website, but it's nonfunctional now. There is a website at]http://hometown.aol.com/periscopefilms/Submarinevids.html
and an email address stating]regulusdoc@aol.com

I was on the verge of buying the Regulus documentary, but now I'm not that sure, given your experience. BTW, they sell these through Amazon, so you may want to leave some pointed Review comments there about the quality!

Tom,

The Regulus video is actually very good in both quality, sound, and transfer. They did a very professional job on the DVD. I recommend buying that one.

However, with that said I cannot believe the same people made the "Nuclear Pioneers" DVD.

I figured someone here must know who they are here.
