[color=#000000]On the topic of mini subs, I am looking for information on the torpedoes used in the Type A. I know that the Type 97 was used, but abandoned after Pearl Harbor. I have conflicting information that either the Type 91 (modified arieal torpedo) or the Type 98 was used. I have a few pics that I have found, but any other pics that someone might have would be appreciated. This information is for my 1]
To aeroengineer1 or anyone else who could help.
I am looking for some reasonably good plans of the
Type-A Ko-Hyoteki. A quick search of the usual
providers came up empty for me. if someone knows
any good other resources for research purposes that
would also be extremely helpful. Thanks in advance!
I am using the Gene Burger drawings. They are great, but as usual there are some details that are lacking. I had to do a lot of research and redraw some things. What are you needing them for? Are you going to do a boat? if so what scale? Here is a link to what I am doing.
What a totally awesome project you've got going. Incredible!
I feel like a kid who brought a model of the solar system made
from styrofoam balls and coat hangers to the science fair and
got sit next to a kid with a cold fusion reactor.
Yes, I was thinking of doing a boat at something near that
scale as well when my skills have caught up a bit to my imagination. Good Luck she's shaping up to be a real looker.
Sorry I can't help with your torp inquiry. And If you ever decide
to pull some hulls for sale I know where you can move one
