Does anyone know of someone that can render the below picture from the conning tower of the USS Kracken to a scale decal for a 1/48th scale boat a friend of mine is building? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
BSF
That looks like a fairly conmplicated multi-colored emblem. If it were my boat, then I would hand paint the emblem. Even at 1/48th scale, it looks like it would be large enough to do the hand paint job.
I hand painted the laughing sawfish on the sides of my OTW 1/32nd U-96 tower. However, I only had two colors to deal with [Medium Green and White]. Perhaps someone else can help you with the decals.

Don,
Thanks for the reply, I was beginning to think no one was going to chime in. The thought of hand painting had come to mind but my friend is leaving the navy soon and going back home to Oregon. Maybe he could mail it to me when it's ready.
