Thor design angle keeper

Ok, for the life of me I can't get it to work, when I hook it up, the servo doesn't work at all.

It worked a year ago on my JR radio but since I put it away till my tracker got here, it doesn't work anymore, what am I doing wrong here?

Does it use a fluid based sensor?

If so, they usually use a mixture of water and alchohol for the fluid. Over time the alchohol evaporates, and the fluid is no longer conductive.

The Thor angle-keeper I've got

The Thor angle-keeper I've got uses a MEMS accelerometer to detect tilt, which is totally solid-state and has no fluid in the sensor. I imagine yours is the same, unless its really old...

If you give us the version (part number) of the angle keeper, we'll be able to tell you for sure.

Other than that, I've no idea how to help you, sorry!

The PC-2a has an accelerometer

The PC-2a has an accelerometer in it to sense changes in attitude (the "a" designation specifies it).

Is it completely dead or just not reacting right?

The PC-2A is actually a SubTech APC-4 in a box.

Since APC-4 is capable of standing alone (no signal input), connect a receiver battery to the input (or just pull the signal wire from the plug) and see if the servo works as the unit is tilted. If not, send it directly back to me. If it works that way, then try it on another radio. I know APC-4 works fine on the Tracker II but I have no experience with the III.

I just got it work.

I just got it work. Its wierd, it didn't work all day then tonight it decided to work. Wierd.
