Help!!! How do you work a Tracker III

I can't get this thing to work. The instructions are horrible.

I got one servo to move once but that it.

Can some one walk me through this?

You are correct sir. If they are the same as my Tracker II the instruction are the worst I have ever seen. Besides all the typos and mispelled words, they just don't make sense.

I finally called and talked to a tech at Polk and asked him how to do certain things. I then typed them out laminated them and stuck them to the back of my transmitter.

Here is what I typed out - hope it makes sense to you]http://www.subcommittee.com/forum/icon_razz.gif[/img]

      Thanks Tim!

However, I am going to have to get either 3 new servos or one for the ballast system since three are JR and 1 is futaba, and they require opposite on the ppm.

        Ok,

        I tried all that and

        Ok,

I tried all that and I still cannot get the remote to move any servo and I have tried three different brands. I have used their battery, the sub battery with the speed controller.

        Nothing seems to work.

          John,
          If it's their (Tracker) receiver,

          John,
If it's their (Tracker) receiver, did you follow instructions to tune it to the transmitter channel you are using? I have no problems using their receiver or a Futaba Rx with the Tracker II transmitter programmed to the same channel. Try one Futaba servo, then, if no success, try a charged receiver battery plugged into the receiver power socket, after disconnecting your BEC, by unplugging your speed controller. It's really a good radio, once you understand the poorly written instructions. I assume the Tracker III isn't much different from the Tracker II.

              John......

              What Art means is to

              John......

What Art means is to hold the set button(tuning) on the RX. Turn on TX first......You must hold it down while powering up the RX and the servo will twitch till the RX aquires a lock on the frequency, at that point the servo will stop twitching. Now you should be able to control the servos.

Don't use the ESC for setup and did you fuly charge the TX and RX batery first? If not I would do this first...low voltage with digital circuits will drive you crazy.
