When did Matt shut down thor designs?

I know I have been busy, but when did this happen? Some take the molds from him to continue on?

            Hello,

            Matt has left a message

            Hello,

Matt has left a message on his web site (www.thordesign.com) expaining his actions. We should all take the time to thank Matt for his contribution to this hobby. If you own a ThorDesign kit, you know why his products will be missed. If you had always wanted a ThorDesign kit, I hope you will be able to find one, because they are among the best in the hobby.

Good Luck with your endeavors Matt!

I am very grateful for my Oscar, I hate to see Matt leave.

I never knew he was working on an Oscar, because I would have surely bought one.

                  I wish Matt well. Quality

I wish Matt well. Quality kits are a good thing. He did do that. Each boat was well made. That Seawolf was something else to!
I wish I would have had a chance to get the electronics, but I am still dealing with a problem almost over in a few months. I was wanting to try out that trick new speed controler times 4 at least.
But, Kevin has a string going on an Oscar II buildup in 1/96. He will be selling them when done with the master, I think.
As long as everyone is having fun, life is good.

Hi Lyle - Glad to hear you and Matt have got an arrangement figured out!

I see your banner ad is popping up again on this site, although when you click on it, it comes up "Page Not Found".

Did you change the URL for Atomic Subs or is that just a temporary glitch?

                              I try to check most

I try to check most of the forums. Atomic Subs is all set up with links in the Vendors section of the website, as per Lyle's request.

I'm glad that the Thor products have found a home.
