this is a great technique, however it is best to use premade trim tape made for Rc cars and or static display cars the thinest you can find is 3/64 wide I used this on my resin 1966 Batmobile it really follows compound curves well but you must be patient. the only way I can see geting them smaller is cutting strips from chart tape or label tape
