Only Carl (or his hairdresser -- or barkeep) knows for sure -- and he may weigh in with a confirming message here -- but it was my understanding that the issue hit the P.O. at the end of last week.

Meanwhile, the December issue is well underway with a lot of choice content (including a cool surprise everyone's gonna like), and at the moment is even on track for getting out on time. I'M excited about it and I WORK on it, so it should make a nice holiday mailbox arrival for all us bubbleheads.

I haven't contacted the printers to confirm it, but the Sept issue should have been mailed out this week. Members who paid for first class shipping should get theirs next week, I should think.

I got mine in the mail and all I can say is Carl and the SCR staff did an excellent job! A big thanks should also go out to the people that take time to write the articles for the rest of us to enjoy and learn from.

Hi Carl,

I just received my copy of the SCR Saturday... Tell Dougie Martindale I really enjoyed his article on the Type VIIc Free-Flooding Vent Patterns. I wish I read his article before I did my hull construction on U-96. I didn't realize there was a difference in the pattern of the Port Verses Starboard side Limber holes. Oh well!!!
