[color=#000000]Hi folks...
I wanted to announce here first that we have made what could be a startling historical discovery on the Disney Nautilus. We are currently building three of them for various clients around the country and during our construction process I chanced upon an accidental yet possibly HIGHLY interesting discovery. I have already reported it to a Disney/Verne historian and well known author and authority [no one we usually see around here] and he says so far that its completely unknown to this point. He said he has not been able to remain calm for days and days now. He will let me know if indeed it is something that has not been discovered but so far it looks as if its true. To me its no big deal but I know there are Nautilus people out there who might like to hear this first.
So... I figured I would let everyone here know before it gets out. IF it turns out to be a new discovery it is going to be officially released and I wanted you guys to hear it here first!
Did you know ... that Harper Goff's NAME is spelled out in the rivet pattern on the Nautilus???
CLEAR AS DAY! We found it a week ago, and immediately consulted the original model [its there] and then talked to the Disney/Verne historian. The name, "GOFF" in all capital letters is right there plain as day. It was particularly noticeable to us because WE fingerprint some of our models in similar ways, so we are always looking for those cutesy things. The very interesting thing is that its symmetrically placed on the hull and this complete pattern only shows up twice, and both times its his name in the same identical spot on port and starboard.
What can I say? Commence to yellin' about it.
Marc
