Red October question: - Intakes location?

Hi,
even after seeing the movie many times I can't locate the water intake of the caterpillar in the Red October. The exhaust are easy to spot in the movie and in the studio model but not the intakes. Does anybody know where they were located and it's shape? A picture of them would be great!

Yep, those are the famous

Yep, those are the famous magneto hydro-populsion drives alright! Also, the early CN model's 1/350th scale Typhoon had the same rear and propeller setup as the Red October, but the caterpillar andintakes/outakes are nowhere visible. I had just seen the movie in the summer myself and it was great!!
