Just called polks hobby and they said the trackers might ship by the 3rd week of October! We are getting close to 1 year on the order now.
Ahh, my alfa will never get out of dry dock!

not sure on that one,
not sure on that one, but I can ask my radio guru. The radio gives you the ability to switch from PCM to PPM, does that help?. I'm using a small novak receiver and it won't work with PCM. Let me find out and get back to you....
Still a newbie here

You want to setup the
You want to setup the Futaba to PPM not PCM. PPM is FM wereas PCM is geared to aircraft. Pulse Code Modulation is for signal rejection and you can program it for servo movement if the signal is lost.
I plan on using my JR 8103 for my new subs and it is the same setup. All you do is go into the modulation screen and select PPM, nothing else.
Hope this helps.

If the Tracker is not
If the Tracker is not forthcoming - why not go for the Robbe-Futaba F14 Navy with the twin vertical sticks? Ships N Things sell these.
I note you had problems with a JR radio and the Thor electronics? Was it a "computer radio"? If so I am not surprised.
A lot of guys here in Australia have had considerable problems with the newer programable or computer radios. I am convinced that these radios don't like subs and our equipment. I now use only the stock standard FM futaba sets for all subs. The F14 Navy is non programable.
Good luck with the Alfa.
All the best

I have been using a
I have been using a Multiplex computer radio for six years in my subs and have never had a compatibility problem with other electronics. I would not trade the ease of set up a computer radio gives you for anything. I would say 80% of our Subron uses computer radios (Multiplex and Futaba) and have never had problems. BD.
