Sept SCR is late - Sorry!

    All,

My apologies, but again the SCR is running drastically behind schedule. I'm trying to finish her up and get her off to the presses now, but it looks like it will still be 2-3 weeks until it's finished and being shipped out.

I'm sorry to be late again, but my job is heavily interfering with my ability to to edit this magazine. Since this is a volunteer position, I'm afraid the job has to come first.

While I'm not ready to give up and resign just yet, if there is someone who has the both the desire and the time to take over as managing editor, I would be glad to talk with them about it. I fully realize that it would be better for the membership if we have an editor who can get the magazine out on time, and would step down if someone able comes forward to claim the position.

    Regards,

    Carl

Better late than never I always say. Wanting is always better than having.

There's one good thing about being a volunteer worker ... they can't dock your pay! We who have done this sort of work know what you're going through and support your effort in addition to having to make a living. Hang in there ... besides, we can blame it on the hurricane!
