I assume you mean Florida ... that's the Ft. Lauderdale where all the college idiots used to go and get drunk and try and impress the girls like in "Where the Boys Are". We went up there back in the '50s when my dad was stationed at Homestead. You gotta have a bunch of ponds there around the golf courses. Will get back to you.

Funny looking address, but that's

Funny looking address, but that's what came up; anyway, found six strong possibilities with fresh water ponds and lakes listed including Brian Piccolo Park on Sheridan Street and Hugh Taylor Birch State Park on East Sunrise. They all mention fresh water lakes and lagoons in parks with Johns and other nicities. Check'em out ... anything but a river! We're lucky out here in the desert, we have many man-made ponds and lakes in town plus several olympic size pools to use. Anything else I can help with?]
Yep...your right...there are quite a few small lakes and ponds around that I could use.....so I dont think finding one will be a problem......What is the range of the boat running on the surface?? I know that when I was flying the RC aircraft, I was able to control it if I could see it....as long as the boat is on the surface I would imagine the same applies .....right??
Hello......well I made a decision of sorts.....I decided to get the Revell 1/72 scale Type VII C and see what I can do with this one first......I have been reading about the conversion kit here and also see that Model brass makes a nice kit for it also....Any thoughts.........?
