New Scale & RC Boat magazine to arrive in December

There is a new scale boat magazine in the works titled Scale & RC Boat Magazine. The Jan 2006 inaugural issue will hit the newstands December, 2005 with content including articles and information on scale, sail, steam and subs.

According to their publicity, “Scale & RC Boat Magazine is a result of a search for a quality U.S. published scale model boat magazine with a focus on the radio control aspects of the hobby. At Scale & RC Boat Magazine we are committed to our readers, advertisers, the hobby industry and boat modelers to produce the best quality magazine based on professionalism, fair and unbiased reporting of modeling information. Our product reviews and evaluations will be based on thorough, factual reporting and careful testing of the product.”

Subscription rate is $26.95 for one year (six issues). You may also purchase a single sample issue for $7.95. Hopefully this will fill the gap left by Scale Ship Modeler going "belly up" a few years ago.
