Carl, you've done an outstanding job in stepping into the role of SCR editor. As you point out, this is a volunteer post, and you have my thanks and support for taking this task on. We all know that life can throw some curves at us, and earning a living comes first.
I would again ask the membership to consider giving the SCR editor a hand. Volunteer to help with the magazine layout or other items that need to be done. Carl should be able to focus on the "big picture" of each issue, and assign and divide the proofreading and layout tasks among others. Some on the SCR staff are already doing this, but more help is always appreciated by all!
Remember, if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate (sorry, but that's what I get for hanging out with medicinal chemists....).
Carl,
Speaking for myself I feel that there is absolutely no need for you to apologize. I personally don't care if the Report gets out late (gives me something to look forward to) and I think you are doing a wonderful job.
Your'e so right. I'll quit bitching. Received SCR the next day and as always it's top notch.
Looking forward to the december issue and what the heck if its a few days late.
Keep up the good work!!!!
