June Issue shipping late... - my apologies

    My fellow SubCommittee members,

The June SCR is finally being printed. It should be mailed out next week.

I must apologize for the lateness of this issue. The fault is mine and mine alone. So please don't blame the other SCR staff members for this. They did their usual great job on this issue!

Unfortunately, it seems that just about everything that could go wrong with this issue has gone wrong. At times it was bad enough to make me question whether or not I'm really cut out to be a managing editor. However, I'm too stubborn to give up and quit over one bad experience... So please bear with me, and I'll do my best to get the next issue out on time.

Speaking of the next issue, for the first time since I took over as editor, I'm running short of articles for the next issue. So please, send in those articles!

    Warm regards,

    Carl

            This is an outrage! Unpardonable!

This is an outrage! Unpardonable! Heads should roll!

Gee, I always wanted to say that

No worries, Carl, I'm sure the wait will be worth it. And as Jeff said, thanks for all the efforts!

              Carl,

              Ditto all the others' praise.

              Carl,

Ditto all the others' praise. You da Man for floating that boat off the ways at all. You're WAY too hard on yourself, man. Don't make the SubRon5 gang have to slap you silly at the FunRun this summer. Hey, maybe a dunk in the river would serve just as well!

Hey Dave! I could lighten that shelf of yours of a few back issues. Ya just can't have enough SCRs around.

Carl, you certainly deserve our support and our thanks. Meanwhile, we all need to keep those articles coming!
