just go to www.silenthunterIII.com and

just go to www.silenthunterIII.com and go to the bottom left and click on the update link and download the 1.2 patch (it will also include the first patch) but make sure you download the correct version...
as for the dvd rom issues above, as far as i know (and ive been following this game for 6 months and been playing a month now since the day it was released) is that there was a dvd version and a DOWNLOADABLE version from other countrys. There is no regular CD version as it would have to be a 3 or 4 disc set to do so. the dvd installs over 2gigs .. you will just have to break down and spend $30 on a dvd rom
i will say this, my dvd rom could install the game (over 2gigs) but then it couldnt read the verification code... the only way i can get mine to read this (every single time the game is launched) is i have to open up "power dvd" software , then i can place the game dvd in the rom and it will then read it so if yours wont verify the code try purchasing "power dvd" it has codecs that allow the ones like mine to work

i have changed the name of my server to "subcommittee2(patched)" since i didnt know that was you hosting the other one... i may just change it to "subcommittee" but you will all know its me... see you on the water

hi Dave, will look for you tonight. Downloaded patch 1.2, will this kick in automatically when starting up the game. Really can't tell if its on, took about 50 min to download. Just finished a 2 hr game last night... with 2 subs a XXI mine and a type II ,, poor guy! he just got the game yesterday... Didn't know, but he stuck with the game until the end.. Great fun............................. I told him to torpedo me at the end of game, he said no problem,, Very COOL.....Jeff jones

When you start up and get to the main menu screen it should say "v1.2" in the lower right corner if it's loaded.

Had an amusing death last night. Dove my boat deep to avoid a destroyer coming at me, guess one of the other u-boats sank it when I was down and it sunk right on top of my u-boat, bow first. I thought it had landed a depth charge right on me till I saw the death screen.
