    Good news and bad news.

    Good news and bad news.
I pretty much have everything. And a friend gave me a brand new scanner, so everything I know you are looking for I have.
    That's the good news.
The bad news. My home PC was sabotaged and killed. I willl not have it online again until late May maybe. Fortunately, I backed up everything on disks that I had. But what you are looking for I have in books. Most of them are written in Russian. But, like a Playboy magazine, the pictures are good.
On book has each class of Soviet submarine in a fold out external arraingement, that, as best I can determine, is far more accurate than other pictures. There are errors in ones on the Deep Storm website and the id.ru website that I think was done as intentional misinformation.
I may could copy these sheets in sections, and fax them to you. Email me.

        Aside from the sites mentioned

Aside from the sites mentioned above I would add]http://www.navycollection.narod.ru/ships/submarines_all.html[/url]

It also has some wrong plans but some of the photos are great! And has some schematics that are unique such as the coolin system of the Alfa or it's the control room.

          Wayne,
could you please be more specific on this. What are these error you mention? I'm very curious and this seems to be very interesting since Deepstorm has deleted all the info related to the Typhoon...

            G'day,

although not heavily imbued with technical details the book "cold War Submarines" By Norman Polmar has very good narrative and goes through all major russian sub types , postwar. A good reference work.
