    Username change?

Is there any way to change one's username? I have been thinking that it really makes more sense to use one's real name rather than something like "USS Silversides", as fun as that is. So I would change it myself right now, but I don't know how. If any of the administrators can fix this for me, I would like my new username to be " JDBostrom ". If it cannot be changed, well that's all right.... I guess I'll just have to remain known as USS Silversides for the rest of my life.

Please post your opinions on this, whatever they are!

    Thanks,
    Jonathan

Jonathan (and any other interested people).

You can easily change almost any of your personal information by simply clicking on "Profile" after you log into the website. This is especially useful if you want to make your login information the same for the site as it is for the boards in order to eliminate confusion down the road.

P.S. Jonathan... I've got you all changed up, as per your request.

        Jonathan,

        While we can change just

        Jonathan,

While we can change just about anything on the SubCommittee web site like member homepages (since we had them custom designed and written for us), we cannot change the username on the forum. This because the forum software that we are using does not provide us a means to do so. Since we didn't write the ikonboard forum software, we are very reluctant to make changes that may impact our ability to apply the software updates that come from ikonboard from time to time.
