Malvinas/Falklands subs - Neglected by sub modelers?

[color=#000000]It's something beyond my understanding why that war (the last naval war of the 20th century) that involved unique events in the history of naval warfare is neglected by sub modelers and model companies as well.

From the british side three to four sub classes participated (depends on considering the Valiant and Churchill SSN classes as different classes)]

    Hi Gerwalk..I agree with what

Hi Gerwalk..I agree with what you said.It does seem a bit neglected ,as does the Royal Navy's contribution to the Submarine Cold War .. ( in the otherwise superb book "Blind Mans bluff " about the secret war under the sea during the Cold-War,i think the RN rate a paragraph at the most!! ..although this could be due to the Royal Navys natural reticence when it comes to revealing operational facts).
However,on the R/C side I am currently building a model of HMS Spartan as she was in the 1980's using OTW's superb 1/72 scale Trafalgar as the basis. Also.I heard a mention on one of the threads recently concerning the imminent release of a model of one of the earlier RN nukes...so keep your ear to the ground. best regards

      You are right. For compensate

You are right. For compensate the lack of info on RN subs there is the excellent "We Come Unseen" book.

As for the model of early british SSNs, I don't know how to interpret the criptic message left by AntoineL...

What kind of propeller did the Spartan has during the war?

I have a nice pic of the propellers of ARA San Luis if you are interested.
