    Doen't seem to be too

Doen't seem to be too much happening here at the moment - we are sort of peering out of the work shed!

You have just missed the London Model Enginering exhibition (end of January)

Perhaps someone from a club near London can suggest something?

      I live in London.

      Not much

      I live in London.

Not much happening to be honest!

It's not very cold, but it is dank and wet at the moment- not very nice sailing weather.

You also need to bare in mind that there aren't very many sub friendly sailing waters within London.

Black park in Slough has a good turnout I believe.

Never been, but I know a few people that go there.

        I've been to Black Park

I've been to Black Park many times with my subs and there are usually several Subs there on a Sunday from 9am onwards up to about 12. You do need a car to get there from London. Parking is £2 for the day.

If you do decide I could probably send you a contact number or e-mail address to check what is happening and get directions, but it does depend on the weather!!

            I'm not 100% sure about

I'm not 100% sure about the tube but I know trains run to Slough and Langley, probably from Paddington, both of which are about 10min drive from Black park.

Try the following web address for some details (the map didn't work for me)

Go to contacts and e-mail Guy for details I've not been for the last year so I'm a little out of touch
            Guy Bagley baggles@tesco.net

Unless somebody more local joins in I'll have a look at Transport over the weekend

              The nearest tube to slough

The nearest tube to slough would be to take the Piccadilly Line to Heathrow.

Then you'd need to take a cab, and that will be expensive indeed, from the airport.

I'd take the train as Martin suggests.
