Put one issue on the website so potential members can see what the magazine looks like. If people want back issues of the SCR, sell them paper copies and give them a price break if they want the whole set.
As a member of the SCR staff for several years it is my firm belief that making the SCR available on CD is just begging to kill the SCR and would drive at least one nail in the coffin of a club that is already struggling to retain membership.
Xeroxing a 60 plus page magazine would take quite awhile and would be a pain in the neck - flipping pages, and standing at a copier collating and stapling. That's why (almost) nobody does it.
On the other hand, a CD copy can be made in a couple of minutes with no more effort than sticking a couple of disks into a computer. BIG mistake.
