Lets say that the Ohios have to launch their missiles and there is a nuclear war, what do they do after missile launch? Assuming there is no base to return to.
What do Ohio subs do after missle launch

The Ohio class sub is
The Ohio class sub is one of the quietest sub in the world at this time. They are so quiet that the navy reports that not one has been tracked. I would suspect that they would slip into the dark places of the ocean, and return to home port for a refill of Titan missiles. Then they would start the whole process over again.

Well if there was a
Well if there was a full scale nuclear war then, there wouldn't be any food (or any thats safe to eat). Anyway I think I'm right in saying, but please correct if i'm wrong, that nuclear subs run out of food and suppiles before fuel. So the crew would die of starvation. Not to mention the desalination plants sucking up radioactive water if the Ohio subs have any. But if I was onboard one, I'd probably commit suicide.
But anyway why you asking? Do you know something the world should?

I think your description is rather good. The food runs out much faster than the nuclear fuel, that's a sure thing. I would say that food runs out in months while nuclear fuel would run out in decades]S5W reactor[/url] )
Fuel life spans depend on how much the ship is operatee, and how accurately one can predict reactor performance. Current cores for the NIMITZ Class aircraft carrier, LOS ANGELES Class SSN, and OHIO Class SSBN last on average about 20 years.

But remember that an ICBM
But remember that an ICBM isn't a full scale war like Novagator asked about.

Novagator, just out of interest
Novagator, just out of interest why an Ohio sub?
I just wanted to know what their orders are afterwards.
SAC bombers are free to go where they choose if all is gone.

There was a movie called
There was a movie called "On the Beach", some years ago. The Boat wasn't a boomer, but, the movie , pretty well, showed how it would play out.
No happy ending.

Well since this thread has
Well since this thread has gone from RC to Real World, I will add some comments too... Why not... Every now and then right?
The real threat is not a global nuke war anymore. It is also not that terrorists will make it HERE again to do their stinking work believe it or not. With the Soviet Union gone, the silos remain, and they are not all in Russia. The remaining higher probability threat is that terrorists will seize a silo and launch on us from over THERE. Its great if we can manage to secure our borders but in truth it would have amounted to a hill of beans if Al Queda was still operational, loaded with money, and able to grab one of those silos.
So for the Iraq war detractors among you, keep that and the following in mind... We are there among other reasons because the REST of the world doesn't adequately look after its own weapons of mass destruction... Its about SURVIVAL and no Geneva Convention was ever designed to handle this type of situation. They changed the rules not us.
So that is the current threat, besides the Chinese looking for ways to initiate killer East Coast Tsunamis by causing a major landslide on the brittle underwater flanks of the volcano Cumbra De Vieja on the island of Fogo in the Cape Verde island off the Northwest coast of Africa...
Oops.... did I say that out loud?
I guess I did... yeah that's another one. But dont worry... Our Navy is interested in Fogo too now...

The movie "On the Beach"
The movie "On the Beach" did play out a pretty decent scenario, and as said, with no happy ending. The acting was not all that great, and some plotlines were lame, but it is still worth a look. Centered around the capt and crew of an LA boat, as I remember.

Actualy, if I remember correctly, it was a Nautilus class. A very old movie.
