My U/W Photo's - - moving web servers

    Folks,

Had to move web servers based on cut backs at work. The good news is I now have more disk space, which means more photo's.

    The new site is]http://www.magma.ca/~bcliffe/subs/Submarines.html

Hopefully I can expand on the models posted as I convince other SubComOn members to make the trip to the cottage.

    Cheers

    Hi,

Thanks for all the great photos.

Can you comment on the comparative effectiveness of the pump jets on your Seawolf and Trenchant vs conventional props? are they good, better, worse than a typical Raboesch scimitar prop?

Also, what rpm are you turning with the pumpjets?

    Thanks,

      Graydon,

Tough questions, but good. I think I recall an SCR article on the thrust output of different propellor designs that include propulsors, anybody else recall this?

My comment is as follows, on the surface a scimitar prop will win hands down. Submerged I think it's a coin toss.

I am talking about models only, probably a different story for the 1]
