    SubTech has a new owner!

[color=#000000]After 14 years in the business Skip has decided to take a well deserved break and has sold his World Renowned model submarine business to its proud new owner - Dave Keogh of Pandan Models. This will take effect as of September 1.

On a side note, I placed an order for a linkage seal last week and I have not received it, I am not sure if it got lost in this transition, but who do I call now?

        John -

        John -

All orders placed by yesterday will be filled by me. This includes back orders. Beginning today (Sept. 1), SubTech will be temporarily closed to allow the handover of inventory, technology, etc. to Dave who is located in the UK. Mike Shubar at Mike's SubWorks can be reached starting now (contact info in original post) but he will not have inventory until Sept. 15. Dave should be able to start shipping on October 1.

Dave will be here in the States from Sept. 4 - 15 for "on the job training" which is one of the reasons for the delay until Oct. 1.

Don't misread "on the job training". Dave is quite capable of doing the job. It's a matter of learning how I've done things. I can't just hand him boxes of parts and expect him to know where everything goes. Who knows? He'll probably be making improvements.

Good luck, Skip. I'll miss you, but only as a personal thing. As far as SubTech goes..... Well, I know both Mike and Dave, I doubt anyone will notice any changes.
But it'll still be strange, not to hear your voice on the other end of the phone.
