Any reviews of Norberts Type VII Revell Conversion

    Hi All
Just what the title says. Has anyone heard anything about Norberts Static diving conversion for Revell's Type VII. Good or bad is it worth the money. Since Dave cancelled his this appears to be the only one going.
    Cheers

      I've seen quite a bit

I've seen quite a bit of Norberts stuff in action- it always works well.

What I would say, is that his stuff tends to be quite expensive.

In terms of material cost, you could easily build the conversion he is offering for a few quid- a couple of bits of ABS tubing and a CNC milled sheet of plastic- 55 euros.
However, you would need to add a reasonable amount of R & D time to the equation, where as with Norberts version you have an almost turnkey solution.

Plus with the low cost of the Revell kit, this has to be the cheapest route to a scale Type VII.

      Pays your money........!
